Dream Big.

Hi there everyone....long time no post!  Sorry I haven't been around- just been busy, busy, busy lately!  I took a trip last weekend to Spokane with my closest friend Meagan and her mom.  Meagan got engaged in July, and this was our first trip to try on dresses...and she ended up finding the dress she wanted!  And it was the third dress she tried on...but we knew it would be the one the minute we walked into the store and saw it on display!  How awesome is that?!  She has her dress all picked out, and doesn't have to worry about the stress of that any longer.  Her mom also got her dress ordered, and we now know which one I will be wearing as the MOH, along with the other bridesmaid's as well!  And just so you know...I had to try on WAY more dresses than Meagan did...tee hee!

I do have a card to share with you today!  It is my card for CPS Sketch 234, where we were sponsored by Unity Stamp Company this week!  I also created this for CASE Study Challenge #56, where I used the color combo of the card as inspiration for mine!  It also fits the Ribbon Carousel Challenge #19 of "Anything Goes!!".  Here is what I created!
"Dream Big." supplies:
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (vintage cream)
Paper: Webster's Pages (Ladies & Gents/Trendsetter 6x6 pack)
Stamps: Unity Stamp Company (Dream Big Webster's Itty Bitty set)
Ink: Clearsnap (Pigment: dune, truffle, aqua)
Ribbon: Michael's brand (sheer orange) & May Arts (orange dot)
Trim: vintage craft supply
Pin: Maya Road
Flower: Prima Marketing
Pearls: Kaiser Craft

Instructions:  Make card from vintage cream cardstock.  Cut blue floral paper slightly smaller, ink the edges and adhere to the front.  Cut a cream paper block, ink the edges, and add an orange dot ribbon tab to the right side of it.  Adhere the block to the upper left corner of the card, adding foam adhesive to the top corners for dimension.  Wrap crocheted trim and orange sheer ribbon around the bottom of the block.  Stamp the butterflies to orange paper, cut out, and adhere to the cream block.  Accent the middles of the butterflies with pearls.  Stamp the sentiment to a vintage cream strip, cut a banner edge and then wrap around a stickpin.  Adhere to the right side of the trim.  Tie a double bow from the orange sheer ribbon, and adhere to the top of the pin, then accent the middle with an aqua champagne rose.  Add a pearl to the end of the sentiment to finish.

I pretty much love everything about this card.  The colors are so soft and dreamy, and I love the sentiment!  I love how the "I" is dotted with a butterfly...it just tied everything together!  Well, that is all I have for you today!  I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day! ♥♥♥

Until later,
~Lea L.
